Background

Established in 1997, by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT).

The University consists of six Constituent Colleges namely;

Iringa University College (IUCo),

Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College (KCM-College),

Makumira University College (MUCo),

Dar es salaam College (TU-DARCo),

Sebastian Kolowa University College (SEKUCo)

Stefano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo).
